Meet The Dentist

Dr. Yanel Echemendia is a dedicated general dentist originally from Cuba. He graduated in 2009 from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de Villa Clara with a degree in Doctor of Stomatology (DDS). He continued his training with certifications in the extension of general dentistry (2011) and oral surgery (2013) in Cuba.

Dr. Echemendia has 5 years of orthodontic experience and 2 years in esthetic dentistry, providing care such as crowns, bridges, fillings, orthodontics, oral surgery, and smile enhancements.

He completed his U.S. certification at the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education (locally known as Community Smiles), where he now serves as a faculty member, helping train and shape the next generation of dentists while staying current with modern dental techniques.

Outside the office, Dr. Echemendia enjoys spending time and making memories with his wife and children.
